Climate resilience is about much more than how a building looks. A climate-resilient building behaves differently. It stays comfortable through changing weather conditions, uses less energy, manages water more effectively, and responds to heat rather than simply fighting it.
None of this happens by accident. Long before a building exists, we spend a great deal of time working with numbers.

People hear the words “green building” and often picture a wall covered in vines or perhaps a rooftop garden.
Heat, light, air, water, and equations that most people never see. That’s our work!
We don’t make buildings look climate-resilient. We look at how they actually behave, identify where that performance can be improved, and use science and engineering to change it. Through building physics, climate science, and engineering, we help create buildings that are comfortable, efficient, and resilient, by design.
